A Christian Nation

Someday soon, the first bricks will be laid. The wall, so long promised, will take form. A wall of protection. To keep them away, because we know they are the source of everything bad: rape, crime, drugs, murder. Finally, we will be safe. Our women will be safe. Our children will be safe. And our nation will be safe. That's how we do things in a Christian Nation.

That's a good start, but not enough. We still have the threats from within. The illegals are easy enough to deal with, we can just deport them. We'll have to figure out other ways to deal with the perverts who are trying to convert our children. Fortunately we have great politicians who will repeal the phony protection laws that protect the perverts and give us real protection for our children. It takes tough men to build a tough Christian nation.

And the poor and destitute? Bad life choices have bad consequences. Enabling bad choices is not helping anyone. Besides, we can't afford it. Every dollar we spend on homeless shelters is a dollar less we have to spend on our military. Let's get real. Guns don't grow on trees. Bombs don't build themselves. Christianity is under attack. We must defend it. That is our first responsibility as good Christians.

Schools are an obvious waste of money. They just teach people to ask questions. We don't need more questions, we need to teach answers. And we don't need schools for that. We already have the answers. They are all in The Bible. All you need to know is which passages to read and which to ignore. It's not that complicated for God's sake. Just memorize a dozen passages and you will know everything you need to know. The rest, it will just confuse you. See how easy it is, being a good Christian?

This is so easy. It isn't rocket science. Just listen to those who know. The one's in power. The ones who control things. They understand what The Bible really says. They talk to Jesus. Protect, Defend, Guard, Memorize. That's what Jesus tells us to do.
........................
In another place, maybe even another world, a presence, a spirit, a soul resides, taking all of this in with sadness. And in a quiet, tortured voice, repeats over and over, "Really? Is that what they think I said?"

  1. What an excellent (and sad) synopsis. The wall is now pretty much over, but the mentality remains the same. Hoping to share this on my Facebook page.
